Infusion
A general term to describe the delivery of fluids, including drugs into a patient’s bloodstream, infusion therapy is commonly used from the treatment of various chronic conditions and dieseases where traditional oral medications prove to be impractical or ineffective.

Medical Challenges
Monitoring of the patient’s hemodynamic state is achieved through the use of traditional BP cuffs with measurements at intervals of every 5 to 15 mins. These devices only provide point measurements and do not capture any sudden changes in hemodynamic parameters that may result in a medically unstable patient.

Caretaker Solution
The continuous monitoring that the Caretaker4 provides allows adverse or significant hemodynamic events to be observed and recorded as they happen which helps to facilitate medical intervention before it is too late.
